The Brief
The live-action Barbie movie directed by Greta Gerwig was the biggest must-see film of summer 2023. The pink carpet was rolled out in London's Leicester Square for the European premiere, where Alpha Crew worked behind the scenes to help create the star-studded event.
The Barbie premiere took place on 12th July 2023 with the film hitting cinemas on 21st July. This was the same release date as Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer, resulting in the cultural phenomenon, Barbenheimer. Both films were great successes at the box office and Barbie led the way to become 2023's highest-grossing film worldwide. Barbie's stellar ensemble cast includes Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, Will Ferrell, America Ferrera, Dua Lipa, and many other familiar faces.
