Identity brought us in to crew the project through every stage, from the first day on site to the final load-out. We supplied a team of 30 crew who worked as an extension of their production team, taking direction on site and keeping the build moving to schedule.
The project covered two separate activation zones, each with its own audience. The spectator zone was designed for the crowds visiting during the Games, while the VIP zone hosted clients and guests. Our crew worked across both, supporting the build from the ground up.
With the Games fixed to an immovable opening date, there was no room for delays. Our crew worked 10 to 12 hour days through January and February, in winter conditions, to make sure both zones were finished and ready before the first visitors arrived.
Once the Games were over, the job wasn't finished. We returned to Milan in April to dismantle both zones, giving Identity the same crew support at the end of the project as at the start.
Our work included:
- Building the spectator activation zone
- Building the VIP client activation zone
- Working long-day shifts of 10 to 12 hours across January and February
- Supporting the production team on site throughout the build
- Returning in April for the full dismantle of both zones
