Boardmasters Music Festival

Boardmasters Festival is a large-scale event and in 2023 the capacity was 53,000 people across the two sites. Alpha Crew's 24-person team joined forces with the Boardmasters production crew to ensure the music festival went as planned. Our hardworking events crew worked an impressive 770 hours between them over the course of six days, and made sure every aspect of the live event was executed with the highest level of professionalism and efficiency.

We helped with crucial elements of the festival, including load-ins and load-outs, the build and break, and time-sensitive artist changeovers for the main stage. Our adaptable multi-skilled staff were on hand to fulfil any tasks that needed completing ranging from managing pyrotechnics and video builds, to assisting riggers with spreaders, truss, and motors.

Alpha Crew remained on-site throughout the festival period and undertook day and night shifts to maintain operational readiness at all times. This allowed us to easily stay on top of stage setups and transitions between acts, while also helping to minimise our carbon footprint by cutting down on our transport needs. Alpha Crew's commitment to developing green working practices makes us a great match for Boardmasters, who strive to be sustainable and have a low impact on the local environment and community.
