Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity is held annually in France, celebrating creative excellence and hosting the world’s most prestigious advertising awards. From the 12th-26th June, some of the biggest names in the industry come from around the world to the French Riviera to host stands on the beautiful white sand beaches. We are lucky enough that this is not our first time at the festival and we've had the privilege of crewing at this event on multiple occasions in the past.
This year we provided over 100 crew members who collectively worked over 10,000 hours for the festival! Our local South of France crew worked the event with support from our Barcelona team who were flown out for the festival.
Working 12 hour days, our crew were responsible for various tasks of differing nature and skill level. This included operating plants, operating commercial utility vehicles, load-ins, and load-outs. They were also responsible for setting up and taking down sets and acted as show crew throughout the festival.
We had an absolutely amazing time working with our clients, most of whom we have worked with frequently before, including, Amplify, DesignScene, Jack Morton Worldwide, 2Heads, Proud Robinson, and new faces at Freud Communications. The great work of these companies involved stands and beaches with TikTok, Meta, Pinterest, Yahoo, and many more.
Our qualified and experienced plant operators, drivers, PM assistants, and skilled crew were able to execute their tasks with the utmost professionalism and efficiency. Their dedication and hard work contributed significantly to the success of the overall event.
